Job Summary
Create tailored intervention plans to help patients develop, regain, or maintain skills for daily living and leisure activities. Facilitate participation in meaningful tasks through creative problem-solving and teaching new ways to perform duties. Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers regarding conditions, treatment strategies, safety precautions, and adaptive equipment use. Deliver top-of-scope direct patient care procedures while modeling proficiency for new staff. Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care within a multidisciplinary team. Requires a Bachelor's or preferred Master's in Occupational Therapy, current Colorado licensure, and valid BLS certification. PRN schedule with required weekend coverage and holiday rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current licensure with Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Occupational Therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for holiday and holiday weekend
- Must be available for weekdays as needed
- Must be able to work onsite
- Must be able to work PRN schedule
