Job Summary
Deliver evidence-based, quality care to hospitalized patients to empower them toward their previous level of functioning or next stage of care. Establish timely treatment plans addressing specific needs for self-care management and Activities of Daily Living. Communicate and educate patients, family members, and caregivers on daily routines while collaborating with physicians, case management, and nurses. Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital to ensure interdisciplinary teamwork. Work one-on-one with diverse patient populations in neuro, trauma, ortho, and hand therapy settings at Northeast Regional Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AOTA approved occupational therapy program
- State Licensure
- Registered with NBCOT
- Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association
