Occupational Therapist - Acute Care- PRN

Job Summary
Evaluates patients and provides inpatient occupational therapy treatment programs based on physician orders from inpatient providers. Collaborates with the healthcare team to facilitate transitions to the most appropriate level of post-acute or home care to achieve patient-specific goals. Requires a Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy, current OT license (or eligibility/reciprocity), and BLS. Must be able to travel between facilities; strong computer, communication, and organizational skills; patient-focused care and adherence to safety and documentation standards. On-site role with in-person duties in New Orleans, LA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy
- Current occupational therapy license in state of practice OR eligibility for licensure by examination OR reciprocity from another state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel throughout and between facilities
