Occupational Therapist - acute care

Establishes treatment plans and provides skilled occupational therapy services to patients across orthopedic, neurological, medical, and surgical units. Educates patients, families, and healthcare providers while collaborating on referrals and delegating interventions to assistants, techs, and students based on competency. Performs assessments, reassessments, and consultations to determine appropriate equipment and supplies, ensuring discharge needs and functional status are addressed. Completes documentation in accordance with departmental policies. Works Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 7pm with weekend and holiday rotation available.
