Occupational Therapist - acute care

Occupational Therapist (OT) in acute care at Progress West Hospital, a full-time position in a community hospital within the BJC network. Provides inpatient OT services to patients across orthopedic, neurological, medical, and surgical cases, with a focus on evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge-ready functional outcomes. Responsibilities include establishing treatment plans, educating families and other providers, delegating to assistants, completing documentation, and delivering ongoing assessments and consultations to optimize patient function. Requires OT licensure; education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy with a Master’s Degree preferred. CEU budget, annual raises, sign-on bonus, and weekend/holiday rotation are offered. Location: O’Fallon, MO; schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm with rotation. Departments include Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Pathology within inpatient services.
