Job Summary
Conduct community visits to assess abilities and needs of individuals, working with multidisciplinary teams and equipment vendors to facilitate function for pediatric and adult clients. Analyze physical, cultural, social, and institutional environmental impacts on occupational performance to develop client-centered plans, adjusting services based on mutual agreements and evidence-based problem solving. Maintain professional client records in compliance with ParaMed policies and regulatory standards while engaging clients through collaborative approaches that build trust. Requires registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists, a valid driver's license, and current First Aid and CPR certification. Required Qualifications
- Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists (in good standing)
- A valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle
- Able to provide a current, clear Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS)
- Current certification (within the past 12 months) of First Aid and CPR
Desired Qualifications
- Licensed ADP authorization considered an asset
