Job Summary
The Occupational Therapist conducts assessments and reassessments of rehabilitation needs, plans and supervises therapeutic programs aimed at restoring physical and sensory-integrative functions, and enhancing independence in daily living activities. Key responsibilities include coordinating with the Rehab Director, guiding patients and families in therapeutic activities, documenting patient progress, and actively participating in case conferences. The ideal candidate must possess a relevant Bachelor's degree and hold current Texas licensure, with two years of experience in the field.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a curriculum in Occupational Therapy accredited by the relevant bodies awarding a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Current licensed by the state of Texas to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
- Two years appropriate experience as an Occupational Therapist required.
Desired Qualifications
- Two-year experience as an Occupational Therapist in home health preferred.
