Job Summary
The Occupational Therapist will provide diagnostic evaluations and create treatment programs for patients, helping them achieve maximum functioning levels. Responsibilities include administering therapy for orthopedic, neurologic, cardiac, and balance issues, training in the use of adaptive equipment, conducting home assessments, and participating in prevention therapy. Required qualifications include a degree in occupational therapy and a current WA state OT license. Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate degree in occupational therapy required.
- Current valid WA state Occupational Therapist license (or in the process of obtaining).
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
