Job Summary
Conduct evaluations to understand patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs affecting daily activities. Create personalized intervention programs to improve independence in daily tasks and guide patients through exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive device training. Provide patient and caregiver education on coping strategies, home modifications, and techniques to improve quality of life. Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify treatment approaches as needed while collaborating with doctors, physical therapists, and other professionals. Work at Park View Care Center in a rural environment offering a calmer atmosphere and opportunities to build a full caseload quickly. Full-time, flexible hours with a competitive wage of $45–$55/hour, $7,500 bonus, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Program and have a bachelor's degree
- Must possess a current Accredited MN Occupational Therapy (OTR) License
- Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care
- Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required
