Job Summary
Conduct evaluations to understand patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs affecting daily activities. Create personalized intervention programs to improve independence in daily tasks and work-related functions. Guide patients through exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive device training to enhance motor skills and coordination. Provide patient and caregiver education on coping strategies, home modifications, and techniques to improve quality of life. Track patient improvements, document progress, and modify treatment approaches as needed. Collaborate with doctors, physical therapists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Join Truman Senior Living in a rural environment offering a calmer atmosphere and less stress. Full-time position with a $45-$55 hourly wage, $7,500 bonus, and tuition assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate from an Accredited Occupational Therapy Program and have a bachelor's degree
- Must possess a current Accredited MN Occupational Therapy (OTR) License
- Must possess strong knowledge regarding state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care
- Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required
