Occupational Therapist (58098)

Provide occupational therapy to patients unable to perform daily tasks due to illness or injury. Assess patients, observe deficits, establish therapy goals, and document progress while assisting with exercises to improve fine motor skills and coordination. Suggest adaptive equipment like grab bars and shower chairs, evaluate fall risks, and introduce strategies to improve home safety. Educate patients and families on the plan of care, exercises, goals, and self-care. Work as part of a home health team including RNs, LPNs, CNAs, HHAs, PTs, and SLPs focused on personal goals. Requires an active Indiana OT license, minimum one year of experience, CPR certification, and knowledge of home health regulations.
