Job Summary
Provide occupational therapy to home health patients unable to perform daily tasks due to illness or injury in the patient’s home. Assess deficits, establish therapy goals, document progress, and educate patients and families on plan of care and self-care. Work as part of a home health team to improve fine motor skills, introduce adaptive equipment, assess fall risks, and enhance home safety. Expect 1:1 therapist-to-patient care, collaboration with RNs/LPNs/CNAs/HHA/PT/SLP, and adherence to home health regulations. Requires graduation from an accredited OT program and active Florida OT license, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of OT experience. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
- active OT license in Florida
- Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of state and federal home health regulations
