Job Summary
Provide school-based occupational therapy evaluation and treatment for children, conduct individualized evaluations using standardized and non-standardized tools, participate in multidisciplinary evaluation/re-evaluation for IEP planning, develop goals and recommendations for educational plans, and collaborate with school personnel, parents/guardians, and other agencies. Responsibilities include monitoring and consulting for students, facilitating documentation and reporting, coordinating with therapists and team members, supervising OTAs if assigned, and providing fieldwork supervision for OT students; maintain compliance with laws and CAIU policies and participate in ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid PA Occupational Therapy License
- Knowledge of special education practices related to Occupational Therapy
- Full certification in Safe Crisis Management (SCM), Safety Care, or other restraint management system as required by assignment
