Job Summary
Assess and evaluate patient care needs related to functional status, activities of daily living, and adaptive equipment. Conduct patient assessments evaluating the level of function by applying diagnostic and prognostic functional ability tests. Consult with the physician in the development of the therapy plan of care and observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and condition changes to the nurse supervisor. Provides service within the scope of practice as defined by state laws, using evidence-based techniques in coordination with the health care team. Requires current Occupational Therapy licensure, CPR certification, and a dependable vehicle. Full-time employment (40 weekly hours) with a 4-day week schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
- Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
- Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment
