Job Summary
Occupational Therapist 1 in Acute Care at Harborview Medical Center (UW Medicine). Part-Time, 32 hours/week, Day Shift. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, administering, evaluating, and providing occupational therapy; developing progression of treatment goals; patient and family education; caseload management from routine to complex cases; collaboration with multidisciplinary team; implementing treatment programs addressing sensorimotor deficits, activities of daily living, cognition, and therapeutic adaptations using therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and splinting; documenting intervention plans and outcomes; participating in rounds and quality assurance; providing home programs and education to patients and families; advising on equipment needs and coordinating with care teams.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program and successful completion of the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy examination
- Active Washington State license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
