Job Summary
Conduct store safety audits, drive employee engagement through frequent visits, and lead internal and external training classes to build a robust safety culture. Manage the Near Miss program and ensure full compliance with OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulations while coaching staff on safe work practices. Assist in special projects and communicate complex regulatory requirements clearly to all employee levels. Requires extensive safety knowledge, public speaking skills, and a valid driver's license. Required Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service focus
- Ability to communicate with all levels of employees
- Excellent organizational skills
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft office and auditing software
- Ability to understand complex regulatory requirements and then to clearly and effectively explain them to others that are not familiar with the regulations
- Public speaking skills
- Ability to work in a variety of environments and conditions
- Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR
Desired Qualifications
- Strong background in the heavy equipment, power generation, or on-highway truck shops is preferred
- Read, write, and speak Spanish
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
