Occupational Medicine Physician

Job Summary
Board Certified/Eligible Occupational Medicine physician to provide occupational health services to local business partners, including pre-placement and annual physicals, DOT exams, wellness exams, fitness-for-duty exams, workers' compensation exams and treatment, medical review officer (MRO) services, and physician consultative services. Strong knowledge of OSHA, FMCSA, CDC, NFPA-1582 and LEO guidelines is important, with an emphasis on cultivating relationships with key stakeholders within local municipalities and the private business sector. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are offered. Location-based duties include serving communities in South Hampton Roads, VA across Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk, and Portsmouth with NowCare Bayview affiliation.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Occupational Medicine (ACOEM)
- Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care background preferred
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, FMCSA, CDC, NFPA-1582 and LEO guidelines
