Occupational Hygiene Advisor

Brisbane-based hybrid role supporting Dyno Nobel sites across Australia and is responsible for identifying, assessing, and controlling workplace health hazards to protect employee wellbeing and ensure regulatory compliance. You’ll provide technical advice on occupational exposure risks including chemical, physical, biological and ergonomic hazards while supporting monitoring programs and continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll work in a highly mobile role, regularly travelling to operational sites to conduct monitoring and partner with teams to improve health risk outcomes. Responsibilities include conducting occupational hygiene monitoring including dust, noise, heat and vibration; setting up, calibrating and maintaining monitoring equipment; collecting exposure samples and preparing monitoring reports; performing respiratory and hearing protection fit testing; building relationships with site teams and HSE stakeholders; coaching employees and leaders on health hazards and risk controls. Requirements include a tertiary qualification in Occupational Hygiene, Health Science or related field, knowledge of health risk assessment and exposure monitoring, strong communication skills, data analysis ability, and willingness to travel across sites. The role embraces a hybrid work model with three office days and two remote workdays per week.
