Job Summary
Lead occupational health, wellness, ergonomic and injury prevention programs at Scout Motors Production Center; manage relationship with third-party occupational health clinic and early symptom intervention provider; coordinate with EHS, HR, Risk & Insurance, and operations on conditioning programs, workers’ compensation, return-to-work and light-duty, and support ergonomics and workforce well-being initiatives. Drive PDA development with health and insurance providers, coordinate mental health initiatives with an LCSW, oversee ergonomic program design and implementation, monitor injury/illness data, contribute to RTW and light-duty planning, support industrial hygiene programs, and collaborate with operations, design, and production. Travel domestically ~10% and be office-based at the Blythewood, SC location; role requires 5 days in the office and in-person meetings/events. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12+ years of EHS experience, and experience delivering safety training to adult learners; OSHA knowledge and extensive involvement in workers’ compensation, RTW, and ergonomic/industrial hygiene programs expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Nursing, Kinesiology, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, EHS, or related field
- 12+ years of EHS experience
- Experience developing and delivering technical or safety training to adult learners
Additional Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license required
- Based in Blythewood, South Carolina with 5 days per week in office and travel ~10% domestically
