OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST- LPN/ RN

Job Summary
Provide on-site medical care within nursing scope and protocols, responding promptly to workplace and general health issues. Perform health screenings including drug/alcohol tests, spirometry, and audiometry while maintaining accurate records for OSHA and state compliance. Ensure confidentiality in all health matters and support safety, ergonomic initiatives, and wellness programs. Assist with documenting workers' compensation cases and take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the health and safety team. This role requires mobility to respond to incidents on the production floor. Monday through Friday shifts with occasional Saturdays; 8-hour shifts. Current unrestricted LPN/RN license and CPR/First Aid/AED certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted state license as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse
- Current CPR/First Aid/AED card
- Ability to perform drug/alcohol tests, spirometry, and audiometry
- Ability to maintain accurate health records for OSHA and state compliance
- Ability to ensure confidentiality in all health matters
- Ability to support safety and ergonomic initiatives
- Ability to assist with wellness programs and employee health education
- Ability to manage and document workers' compensation cases
- Ability to respond to workplace and general health issues
- Ability to provide on-site medical care within nursing scope and protocols
