Occupational Health & Safety Coordinator

Job Summary
Supervise and mentor staff on assigned projects, budgets, schedules, and performance standards while establishing systems to monitor workplace safety risks and environmental impacts. Analyze work processes, materials, equipment, and employee habits to ensure policies meet compliance and legal requirements. Manage telework inspections, intervene in the occupational health and safety management system, and monitor indicators alongside physiotherapy interns and absenteeism cases. Organize training programs to address specific needs and write accomplishment reports. Requires a post-secondary degree, legal knowledge of regulations, and 2-50% travel.
Required Qualifications
- A post-secondary degree or equivalent
- Legal knowledge in Occupational Health & Safety regulations
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in Occupational Health & Safety
- Previous experience in administrative or healthcare environments
- Previous experience in a leadership position
- The ability to work both independently and in a team setting within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Exceptional time management, organizational, and prioritization skills to complete work on time
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills (English B2)
