Job Summary
Coordinate care for patients with complex, long-term health needs across the clinic continuum. Administer fit testing, audio, vision testing, and preliminary exams while conducting medical surveillance and wound care. Educate patients and families on benefits, risk factors, and wellness resources to enhance shared decision-making. Process medical records in compliance with OSHA and manage reinstatement procedures. Exercise professional nursing judgment to collaborate with diverse professionals, agencies, and systems, including Corporate Medical Operations and plant stakeholders. Provide chart audits and train staff on Cority systems. Maintain individual competence in occupational health practice while adhering to relevant laws and regulations. Schedule is 3pm-11:30pm; BSN and current state license required.
Required Qualifications
- BSN Required
- Current state license to practice
- Current BLS certification
- A minimum of three years of experience in occupational health, emergency room, critical care or urgent care
- Excellent critical thinking skills and knowledge of emergency nursing care to effectively work autonomously
- Must have an excellent understanding of OSHA recordkeeping criteria
- Must be trained as a Breath Alcohol Technician
- Must be willing to train in the use of Cority if they are not already proficient
- Must be available for the schedule 3pm-11:30pm
