Job Summary
Occupational Health Registered Nurse coordinates and implements hospital-wide programs for prevention and control of workplace illnesses and injuries for health system employees. Essential functions include case management and surveillance of workplace injuries/illnesses, pre-placement evaluations, providing routine and emergency care to employees, vaccine administration, OSHA reporting, SICKline triage, and serving as HR liaison to Recruitment. The role collaborates with Nurse Practitioners, Infection Prevention, and management to optimize employee and patient protections; requires nursing licensure in Massachusetts, vaccination/TB screening experience, and preferred CIC or COHN certification and Excel skills.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing as validated through the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing
- Registered Nurse – Board of Registration in Nursing (Massachusetts)
- Vaccination and TB screening experience required
