Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in occupational health across Staten Island and Suffern, including evaluation and treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses, outpatient care, and supervision of ancillary providers. Deliver care for World Trade Center–related illnesses, conduct medical screenings for hazard exposures (e.g., asbestos, lead, other toxins), perform disability evaluations and depositions when applicable, and participate in workers' compensation credentialing. Demonstrate expertise in fitness-for-duty assessments, disability evaluations, and exposure-disease relationships for federal agencies overseeing the WTCHP, while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to advance occupational health care and patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree from an accredited program
- New York State Medical License
- BE/BC in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Pulmonary Medicine
- Preventive Medicine candidates with 3 or more years of recent direct patient care experience will also be considered
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven environment
