Job Summary
Full-Time Occupational Health Physician in a leadership role practicing in Chesapeake and Denbigh clinics within a large health system. Responsibilities include hands-on clinical care with leadership duties such as mentoring NP/PA providers, oversight of DERs, ensuring OSHA/DOT/CDL/compliance, and maintaining employer relationships. Scope includes DOT physicals, drug/alcohol screening, occupational injury/illness care, immunizations, workers’ compensation, respirator/hazmat exams, and on-site X-ray. On-site clinical support provided (RN, LPN, CMA, X-ray technologist). No night/weekend/holiday call. Eligible for relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package; visa sponsorship not available.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed MD or DO
- Leadership experience or strong interest in physician leadership
- DOT certification required or ability to obtain
