Job Summary
Provide first aid, medical assessment, and proactive case management for workplace injuries and illnesses in a chemical manufacturing environment. Coordinate workers' compensation claims from initial injury through resolution, oversee transitional duty and return-to-work programs, and maintain OSHA injury and illness records. Administer FMLA, ADA accommodations, and disability programs while ensuring compliance with all leave and medical surveillance requirements. Promote employee wellness, provide safety education, and support emergency response preparedness. First shift.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 3–5 years of occupational health, industrial nursing, emergency medicine, case management, or related clinical experience
- Experience managing workers' compensation, disability, and leave administration
- Current BLS certification
- Knowledge of OSHA, ADA, FMLA, HIPAA, workers' compensation, and occupational health regulations
- Strong clinical assessment and case management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- First shift availability
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Highly qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) with occupational health, case management, industrial nursing, or emergency/acute care experience
- Chemical manufacturing or industrial experience
- COHN or COHN-S certification
- Certified Case Manager (CCM)
- ACLS certification
