Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care including emergency response, treatment, follow-up, referrals, and non-prescription medication administration. Support occupational injury and illness case management through documentation, claim tracking, return-to-work coordination, and collaboration with third-party administrators. Administer medical surveillance programs such as hearing conservation, respiratory protection, and periodic physicals. Conduct drug and alcohol testing per company policies and maintain accurate, confidential medical records. Partner with stakeholders to deliver health, wellness, and safety guidance while participating in employee education initiatives. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost control. This role reports to the EHS Manager under a Registered Nurse in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of nursing experience in an industrial, manufacturing, occupational health, urgent care, emergency care, or related clinical environment
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Vocational Nurse (VN) license in the state of employment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent CPR/First Aid/AED certification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing occupational injuries, medical documentation, and return-to-work processes
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems
- Audiometry, spirometry, and drug-screen collection certifications
