Job Summary
Occupational Health Nurse responsible for proactively maintaining the health and safety of associates at Illuminate USA’s Columbus-area factory. Develop and implement health and safety programs, policies, and procedures; assist in EHS training; conduct health assessments and screenings; provide medical care and first aid including pre-employment and return-to-work programs; grow and promote Illuminate USA’s health and safety culture through communication and continuous improvement; collaborate with external healthcare providers; maintain medical-record confidentiality; contribute to health education and wellness initiatives; ensure compliance with standards and regulations; work at a 1.1 million-square-foot manufacturing facility with a focus on industrial health within a solar panel production environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid nursing license and registration in Ohio
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in an industrial or healthcare setting
- Occupational Health, CPR, and First Aid certification
- Proficiency in using medical equipment for conducting health assessments and screenings
- Knowledge of workers’ compensation regulations, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, emergency response, and first aid
- Ability to communicate and listen to the needs of production and maintenance associates
