Job Summary

Implement an effective facility-level occupational health program to maximize productivity and reduce health-related costs. Provide immediate care for employee and visitor injuries, coordinate medical emergency response teams, and manage root cause analysis for incidents. Lead the plant's active ergonomics program, conduct simple office ergonomic assessments, and support risk reduction for musculoskeletal symptoms. Implement health surveillance programs including hearing conservation, respiratory surveillance, and chemical hazard exposure management. Maintain occupational health records, ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA and Workers Compensation, and oversee the on-site drug-testing program. Facilitate case management to coordinate return-to-work processes and lead risk-based health promotion initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Registered nurse
  • BSN preferred
  • Current license to practice
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a clinical setting
  • COHN Certification (Certified Occupational Health Nurse) preferred
  • OSHA 30-hour (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire)
  • Education (or willingness to obtain within 6-months of hire) in fundamentals of industrial ergonomics
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Desired Qualifications

  • COHN Certification (Certified Occupational Health Nurse) preferred
