Job Summary
Occupational Health and Employer Services Physician role in Springfield, OH. Diagnose, treat, and manage occupational health and episodic care patients; perform minor procedures within scope; evaluate work-related injuries and determine treatment and return-to-work restrictions/referrals; educate patients on care plans and return-to-work; coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow; maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record; Monday-Friday schedule with no evenings, calls, or weekends. Current, American Board-Certified Physician with unrestricted Ohio DEA and Medical License required; minimum two years of active clinical experience; background in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Occupational Health preferred; DOT and MRO certifications or ability to obtain within 6 weeks of hire. Location: 1343 N Fountain Blvd Ste 250, Springfield, OH 45504. Required Qualifications
- Current, American Board-Certified Physician
- Current, unrestricted Ohio DEA and Medical License - required
- Minimum two years of active clinical experience - required
- Background in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Occupational Health - strongly preferred
- Ability to practice independently with sound clinical judgment - required
- DOT Certified or ability to obtain within 6 weeks of hire
- Medical Review Officer (MRO) certified or ability to obtain within 6 weeks of hire
