Job Summary

Coordinate daily patient flow and schedule to optimize care, safety, and satisfaction by preparing rooms for exams and procedures. Assist with and perform patient care including collection of information, accurate vital sign documentation, and recording input/output activities and treatments on the EMR. Demonstrate clinical knowledge across all patient types and age groups while implementing provider instructions and orders. Perform office procedures such as scheduling, admitting, and discharging patients, and maintain diagnostic and medication logs. Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining assigned equipment processes. Requires EMT, CNA, or Medical Assistant certification and Basic Life Support. Hourly pay ranges from $22 to $28.39 USD.

Required Qualifications

  • One of the following is required: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification by the state of Colorado
  • Certified in the state of Colorado as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) by American Medical Technologist (AMT)
  • National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) by the National Center for Competency Testing
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) by the National Healthcare Association
  • Medical Assistant Certification (MAC) by the American Medical Certification Association
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) by American Heart Association required

Desired Qualifications

  • One year of experience as a care tech preferred
