Job Summary
Review and address occupational health claims to ensure proper payments, resubmit unprocessed claims within timely filing limits, and research Eligibility of Benefits (EOB) for payment verification and adjustments. Appeal unpaid balances to the Worker's Compensation Committee, correct registrations, and refile claims while addressing account inquiries and update requests. Establish working relationships with payer representatives to ensure proper claim filing and reimbursement, communicate trends or issues to staff, and maintain confidentiality regarding patient account status. Post occupational health and worker's compensation payments daily and answer client inquiries via phone and email. Full-time position with competitive pay of $15–$27/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-year previous medical experience required
