Job Summary
Carry out occupational health assessments and consultations for employees across office and warehouse environments, providing professional advice on fitness for work, return to work plans, and workplace adjustments. Produce clear management reports following assessments and advise managers and HR colleagues on best practice while supporting case management referrals. Assess reasonable adjustments in line with Equality Act requirements and provide guidance on employee wellbeing and health initiatives. Maintain confidential records complying with GDPR and professional standards. Work on a flexible, ad hoc basis across Manchester and Sheffield, invoicing for services provided.
Required Qualifications
- Qualification in Occupational Health Nursing, Occupational Health Practice or a related Occupational Health discipline
- Current registration with an appropriate professional body (for example NMC, HCPC or equivalent)
- Significant experience delivering occupational health case management services
- Experience assessing both office-based and operational/warehouse employees
- Strong report writing skills with the ability to provide clear and practical recommendations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload
- Full professional indemnity insurance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting retail, logistics, distribution or multi-site businesses
- Experience conducting workplace assessments
- Experience delivering wellbeing initiatives and health promotion activities
- Knowledge of the retail and distribution sector
