Occupational Hand Therapist - Plastic Surgery

Job Summary
Plan and administer occupational therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation for patients with hand or upper extremity injuries, trauma, disease, or surgical interventions. Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, develop integrated treatment plans, and execute therapy while documenting care observations and interventions. Instruct family members or nursing staff on follow-through programs, collaborate with physicians during appointments, and manage orthosis and home exercise programs. Maintain therapy equipment and work areas in safe, clean conditions. Full-time schedule includes four 10-hour days Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Certification by the Board of Registry of the American Occupational Physical Requirements
- Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum Required Experience: No experience required
- Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis
- Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously
- Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required
- Ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Occupational Therapy
- 1 or more years of experience with hand rehabilitation
