Job Summary
Review rental applications and leases for accuracy against Resident Selection Policy, then process and maintain accurate resident files at move-in. Exercise judgment in day-to-day interactions with applicants, residents, vendors, and co-workers while ensuring compliance with lease rules and Fair Housing regulations. Assist residents with signing interim and annual recertification papers. Requires Tax Credit Specialist or Certified Occupancy Specialist designation, minimum two years in housing/social services, and 30+ hour weekly schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with the general management of subsidized housing programs
- Relates well to people
- Exercises good judgment dealing with owners, employees, residents, visitors & vendors
- Excellent organizational skills
- Attention to details
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum two years' experience in related housing, social services or related field
- Tax Credit Specialist designation
- Certified Occupancy Specialist designation
- HUD designation or equivalent
