Job Summary
Review completed rental applications and leases for accuracy and conformance to Resident Selection Policy. Process, complete, and maintain accurate resident files at move-in while ensuring compliance with lease rules, regulations, and Fair Housing requirements. Assist residents with interim and annual recertification paperwork and exercise good judgment in day-to-day contact with applicants, residents, vendors, and co-workers. Manage occupancy for a 16-building property with 262 units ranging from 1-4 bedrooms. Requires Tax Credit Specialist or Certified Occupancy Specialist designation and HUD experience.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with the general management of subsidized housing programs
- Relates well to people
- Exercises good judgment dealing with owners, employees, residents, visitors & vendors
- Excellent organizational skills
- Attention to details
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum two years' experience in related housing, social services or related field
- RAD/Sec.8/PBV/TCAC units
- Tax Credit Specialist
- Certified Occupancy Specialist designations
- HUD and/or equivalents
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and/or Chinese a plus
- COS recommended
