Job Summary
Process and collect resident information including third-party verification, determine eligibility for continued occupancy, and handle leasing and showing appointments. Manage potential resident applications, process interim certifications, and ensure proper calculation of income, assets, and rent levels. Apply knowledge of affordable housing programs, LIHTC, Project-Based Section 8, and EIV to maintain program compliance and resident relations. Requires 3+ years of property management experience with proficiency in OneSite and Microsoft Office. Located in Salem, MA, with a salary range of $68K-$70K.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in property management with EIV experience
- Knowledgeable with respect to affordable housing programs, LIHTC, federally-assisted, and all State and local housing regulations
- Excellent customer service skills
- High degree of interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
- Good organizational skills
- Time management skills and ability to prioritize
- Proficient understanding of basic math concepts
- Solid computer skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated
- 3+ years' experience in property management
- Proficiency in the administration of all current government housing assistance programs such as LIHTC, Project-Based Section 8 and EIV
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of recertifications, program compliance and resident relations
- Knowledge of OneSite
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong communication, organizational, writing, and computer skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail in document/file maintenance
- High degree of organization
- Proficient understanding of basic math concepts
