Job Summary
Process initial, interim, and annual tenant recertifications by conducting interviews, notifying residents, and verifying information with agencies like the Social Security Administration. Complete recertification worksheets to prepare vouchers for HUD and state agencies, ensuring all checklist items are accurate before resident and property manager signatures. Assist with move-in processes, property reviews for regulatory audits, and subsidy contract renewals including utility allowance calculations. Manage prospect waitlists, conduct property tours, and engage in marketing activities to pre-qualify applicants. Maintain resident files in compliance with HOME, HIF, and federal regulations while ensuring data accuracy in Property Management Software.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy
- Flexibility to assist sister properties in the area
- Experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office
- Excellent customer service skills
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to consistently meet required deadlines and follow schedules
- Ability to complete repetitive tasks with a high level of detail
- Ability to plan and schedule 4 months of work activity
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience with Yardi or RealPage property management software
- SHCM certification
- COS or CPO certifications
