Job Summary
Occupancy Specialist at 800 Southern Avenue Apartment Homes in Washington, DC, responsible for achieving maximum occupancy through managing applications, move-ins, lease renewals, and re-qualification in accordance with program guidelines; coordinates leasing activities, conducts resident outreach, and maintains accurate records in property management software. Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of related experience in a property management or apartment leasing office.
- Experience with site based affordable housing programs strongly preferred, specifically HUD and Section 8.
- COS Certified Occupancy Specialist and/or CPO Certified Professional of Occupancy certification strongly preferred.
- Experience with Yardi strongly preferred.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screen required.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required.
