Job Summary
Maintain viable wait lists and internal transfer lists while conducting phone and on-site interviews for potential residents. Schedule appointments, approve move-in files, and oversee recertification letters and resident sign-in appointments to ensure compliance with HUD and TCAC regulations. Manage marketing activities by creating advertisements, conducting market surveys, and walking property tours to present units to prospective applicants. Process rental applications, collect deposits, perform move-in inspections, and handle resident relations including service requests and complaints. Assist the Resident Manager in training staff on annual and interim recertifications while maintaining accurate records and attending mandatory trainings.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Occupancy certification/designation
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others

Desired Qualifications
- One year of related leasing/marketing/sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two years' experience in multifamily, elderly, or related occupancy management position
- One year of experience working with HUD or TCAC programs
