Job Summary
Assist the client with mobility, including vehicle transport and driving to medical appointments up to 20 miles away. Monitor blood sugar levels and manage medication reminders while attending doctor visits in Pasadena. Provide daily lifting assistance, engage in activities like coloring and puzzles, and offer under-the-arm support during transfers. Accommodate intermittent shifts between 7am-5pm on weekdays for 4-hour periods, with a start date of immediate and a potential 3-month duration. Compensation includes $30 per hour plus parking and gas reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of paid professional caregiving experience
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- CPR certified or willing to become certified
- Ability to provide 2 care-related references from a professional setting
- Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record & valid auto insurance
- Reliable vehicle to transport client
- Must speak fluent English
