Job Summary
Provide the highest quality service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner while receiving and delivering orders and collecting payment. Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all employees and guests, listening to and clarifying their concerns. Multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines, attending all required hotel meetings and trainings. Maintain high standards of personal appearance, proper uniform, and grooming while complying with hotel standards and regulations for safe operations. Anticipate, prevent, and solve problems as necessary to maximize productivity. Evening shift availability required.
Required Qualifications
- One year of previous experience in a similar role
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
- Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and coworkers
- Patient in dealing with guests
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Evening shift availability
