Obstetrics Technician (OB Tech) - Obstetrics/Snuggery (Hiring Immediately)

Restock and prepare birthing rooms, nurseries, and operating rooms. Serve as the scrub technician for Cesarean sections and selected OB/GYN procedures. Handle and count sponges, sharps, and instruments while assisting with patient positioning and activities of daily living. Obtain and document vital signs, including TPR, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, glucose monitoring, and intake/output. React appropriately to patient care emergencies and assist nursing personnel in updating physician preference cards. Maintain integrity of routine and emergency equipment within the unit. This role supports patient-centered care at Glens Falls Hospital, located in the foothills of the Adirondack mountains.
