Obstetrics Technician (OB Tech) - Obstetrics/Snuggery

Restock and prepare birthing rooms, nurseries, and operating rooms. Serve as scrub technician for Cesarean sections and selected OB/GYN procedures. Handle and count sponges, sharps, and instruments while assisting with sterile and unsterile supply maintenance. React appropriately to patient care emergencies and assist RNs in updating physician preference cards. Transport patients and assist surgical teams with positioning. Obtain and document vital signs, measurements, and patient intake/output. Maintain integrity of routine and emergency equipment within the unit. Assist patients with activities of daily living to promote hygiene, comfort, and safety. Utilize the computer information system according to established standards.
