Job Summary
Assist in providing basic patient care within the obstetrical setting under the direction of a registered nurse. Support patient safety and comfort by assisting with routine clinical tasks, observing and reporting changes in patient condition, and helping meet the physical, psychosocial, cultural, and age-specific needs of patients and their families. This full-time, day-shift role is part of University of Cincinnati Medical Center's Clifton Campus, which serves as Greater Cincinnati's only Level I adult trauma center and is home to hundreds of thousands of annual patients.
Required Qualifications
- Obstetrics Technician experience
- Patient care skills
- Ability to assist with routine clinical tasks
- Observation and reporting skills
- Ability to help meet physical, psychosocial, cultural, and age-specific needs of patients and their families
