Job Summary
Obstetrics Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support. Schedule includes 12 or 24 shifts. Practice within a Maternal Level III Hospital. Responsibilities include evaluating and managing obstetrical and gynecologic patients from admission to discharge, responding to emergencies, and ensuring appropriate care for all patients on the units with active awareness of all cases. Credentialing timeframe is 60 days. Location: Salem, WV. AMN Healthcare arranges malpractice insurance and handles travel, lodging, rentals, and transportation for contractor providers. Board-certified obstetricians with a minimum of 5 years obstetrics experience are required, along with obstetrics-focused expertise and related professional credentials.
