Job Summary
Board-certified/board-eligible OB Hospitalist/Laborist physician to join the Obstetrics and Gynecology team at St. Joseph Heritage Medical Group in Orange, CA. This inpatient-only role involves evaluating obstetric and gynecologic patients in triage on Labor and Delivery or the ED, admitting patients as needed, managing and delivering obstetrical patients, rounding on antepartum and post-operative patients, and performing C-sections and other surgeries. DaVinci Robot available if interested. Private details include a guaranteed salary with an annual bonus program, sign-on bonus and relocation assistance, PSLF eligibility, and a comprehensive benefits package. 24-hour shifts are required (minimum 7 per month). EPIC EHR used. Salary range $271,055–$360,188/year with potential incentives and CME allowances.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Inpatient obstetric care experience preferred (2+ years) or strong new graduates
- Epic EHR proficiency or experience
- Ability to perform C-sections and obstetric surgeries
- Davis? No, DaVinci Robot available if interested
- Commitment to inpatient Labor and Delivery coverage (minimum 7 24-hour shifts per month)
