Job Summary
Board-certified/board-eligible OB Hospitalist/Laborist to join the Obstetrics and Gynecology team in Orange, CA. This is a full-time inpatient role at St. Joseph Hospital. Responsibilities include evaluating obstetric and gynecologic patients in Labor and Delivery or the ED, admitting patients as needed, managing and delivering obstetrical patients, rounding on hospitalized antepartum and postoperative patients, and performing C-sections and other surgeries. DaVinci Robot available; Epic EHR used. Commitment includes a minimum of 7 24-hour shifts per month. Features include a sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, PSLF eligibility, and a guaranteed salary plus annual bonus. Position described within a large Providence-affiliated medical group network.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- minimum 7 24-hour shifts per month
- inpatient obstetrics experience preferred (2+ years) or new graduates with strong training considered
- Epic EHR experience recommend
- DaVinci Robot available if interested
