Job Summary
Provide full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care in outpatient and inpatient settings on the Salem Hospital campus. Diagnose, treat, and manage routine and high-risk pregnancies, and perform gynecologic procedures including IUD placements, colposcopies, ablations, and minor surgeries. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of APPs, midwives, RNs, and OB hospitalists while participating in a shared call rotation with some weekend call from home. Deliver babies in the Labor & Delivery unit located steps from the clinic, supported by anesthesiology and nursing staff. Work 8:00am - 5:00pm, 40 hours/week with varying days.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Oregon
- Current DEA certification
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant clinical experience
- Experience managing both routine and high-risk obstetric patients
- Experience performing common gynecologic procedures
- Willingness to participate in a shared call rotation
- Willingness to perform some weekend call from home
- Willingness to deliver babies in a modern Labor & Delivery unit

- Prior experience working in a hospital-based, integrated care setting
- Comfort managing high-risk pregnancies and complex gynecologic cases
