Job Summary
Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician with a strong commitment to teaching and academic medicine, joining MUSC’s OB/GYN department in Charleston. The role includes education of medical students, residents, and fellows; L&D coverage; gynecologic surgery (including robotic time for credentialed physicians); involvement in a flexible on-call system; and a research-free clinical track with faculty rank. Required Qualifications
- Completed an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency/Fellowship
- Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Commitment to teaching, excellent communication skills, and interest in academics
- Ability to engage in education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows
- Flexible clinic schedule
- Labor & Delivery coverage responsibilities
- Inpatient and OR coverage including robotics for credentialed in robotics
- Participation in a flexible call system
- No research requirement
- EPIC EMR experience
